On March 18th Mariners Youth quickly pivoted our regular programming moving online for our YouTube Show Youth Night Live. To serve our church best in this time, Mariners Church has developed 4 Plays that we’ve been slowly implementing (Play 1: Mariners Online, Play 2: Mariners Hosted at Home, Play 3: Mariners in the Neighborhood - gatherings of 100 in 7 cities across Orange County, and Play 4: Gathering at Mariners, which we hope to implement soon).
On July 8th Mariners Youth will be resuming on-campus gatherings for teenagers and we’re excited to meet in person (at least with 100 of you)! We can’t wait to see your faces again (even if they’re behind masks)! For those of you who aren’t ready to resume in-person gatherings, we’ll keep our online programming going to resource your teenagers with content and tools to grow in their faith. For those of you ready to join us for our mid-week gatherings, please know, as we make this move, we’re doing so with your safety in mind.
1. Safety
We are following necessary guidelines to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. While we will not be policing one another, when attending our in-person gatherings we encourage you to maintain social distancing protocols, including wearing a face covering when unable to be 6 feet apart. You can read more about our gathering guidelines here. If you are concerned your child won’t be able to follow our guidelines, we recommend waiting for a future date when there are fewer limitations.
2. RSVP System
Our in person gatherings are limited, please reserve your spot ahead of time. Only those who reserve a spot through our reservation system will be allowed to participate. Sign-ups are on a first-come-first-reserve basis. Unfortunately, we will be unable to make any exceptions to this. Every Wednesday night at 9pm you may sign-up for the following Wednesday.

3. ONLINE Gatherings
If you’re not comfortable with meeting yet… or you’re not one of the first 100 to sign-up, we will continue to meet online with JHM’s Youth Night Live Season 2 on our JHM YouTube channel Wednesdays at our new time, 7:30pm … and for HSM we are developing a new program that will be launched on July 9th at 7:30pm on our HSM Instagram.
